पादुकाप्रदानं भरतस्य निवृत्तिश्च (The Sandals Bestowed; Bharata’s Return Toward Ayodhya)

ततो हृष्टो भरद्वाजो भरतं वाक्यमब्रवीत्।अपि कृत्यं कृतं तात रामेण च समागतम्।।।।

Transliteration

tato hṛṣṭo bharadvājo bharataṃ vākyam abravīt | api kṛtyaṃ kṛtaṃ tāta rāmeṇa ca samāgatam ||

Translation

Then Bharadvāja, delighted, spoke to Bharata: “My child, has the duty for which you came been fulfilled? And have you met with Rāma?”
