Shloka 2.110.5

लोकसमुत्पत्ति-वर्णनम् तथा इक्ष्वाकुवंश-प्रशंसा (Cosmogony and Ikshvaku Genealogy as Counsel to Rama)

आकाशप्रभवो ब्रह्मा शाश्वतो नित्य अव्ययः।तस्मान्मरीचि: संज‌ज्ञे मरीचेः कश्यप: सुतः।।।।

ākāśa-prabhavo brahmā śāśvato nitya avyayaḥ | tasmān marīciḥ sañjajñe marīceḥ kaśyapaḥ sutaḥ ||

Brahmā—arisen from space, eternal, constant, and imperishable; from him was born Marīci, and from Marīci, Kaśyapa, his son.

Eternal, changeless and imperishable Brahma arose from space and to him was born Marichi and to Marichi, Kasyapa.
