Rama—tiger among men, steadfast in truth—rose and, in reverence, clasped the auspicious feet of all his mothers.
Rama, the best among men and true to his promise, rose and touched the auspicious feet of all his mothers (in reverence).
Maryādā-dharma: honoring elders and mothers through respectful conduct; satya is not merely speech but a steadfast character that expresses itself as humility and reverence.
When the queens arrive and weep on seeing him, Rama rises and pays formal reverence to each mother by touching her feet.
