पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च (Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī)

ततो बहुगुणं तेषां बाष्पं नेत्रेष्वजायत।तथा ब्रुवति काकुत्स्थे कुमाराणां यशस्विनाम्।।।।

Transliteration

tato bahuguṇaṃ teṣāṃ bāṣpo netreṣv ajāyata |

tathā bruvati kākutsthe kumārāṇāṃ yaśasvinām ||

Translation

As Kākutstha spoke thus, abundant tears welled up in the eyes of those illustrious princes.
