You have now seen this entire forest-tract and heard what was to be heard; therefore, with your permission, I wish to relinquish this body.
You have seen the entire garden and have listened what is to be heard. With your permission I would like to give up this body.
Dharma includes propriety and consent: Śabarī does not act impulsively but seeks Rāma’s approval, showing disciplined, respectful action aligned with truth and duty.
After guiding Rāma around the sacred area, Śabarī announces her readiness to depart from life and requests his permission.
Vairāgya (detachment) joined with maryādā (propriety): she is ready to renounce the body but follows respectful procedure.
