शबरी-आश्रम-प्रवेशः (Rama and Lakshmana at Sabari’s Hermitage)
दनोस्सकाशात्तत्त्वेन प्रभावं ते महात्मनः।श्रुतं प्रत्यक्षमिच्छामि सन्द्रष्टुं यदि मन्यसे।।।।
evam uktaḥ sa dharmātmā śabaryā śabarīm idam | rāghavaḥ prāha vijñāne tāṃ nityam abahiṣkṛtām ||
Thus addressed by Śabarī, the righteous Rāghava spoke to her—Śabarī—ever established in true understanding and never excluded from wisdom.
I have heard from great Danu about your power. If you agree, I would like to see this power in person.
Dharma honors inner realization over social status: one established in true knowledge is worthy of respect and dialogue.
After Śabarī’s words, the narration shifts to Rama responding to her.
Rama’s fairness and reverence toward genuine spiritual attainment.
