Shloka 3.69.49

अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः (Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha)

नातिभारोस्ति कालस्य सर्वभूतेषु लक्ष्मण।।।।शूराश्च बलवन्तश्च कृतास्त्राश्च रणाजिरे।कालाभिपन्नास्सीदन्ति यथा वालुकसेतवः।।।।

tataḥ paraṃ janasthānāt trikrōśaṃ gamya rāghavau |

krauñcāraṇyaṃ viviśatur gahanaṃ tau mahaujasau ||

Then, moving on from Janasthāna and having gone three krośas, the two mighty scions of the Raghu line entered the dense Krauncha forest.

O Lakshmana look at the power of time over all creatures! There is nothing too heavy for time. Even those who know the use of arms in war, or are brave or strong enough, cannot withstand the force of time like the barriers built with sand.

Steadfast perseverance in a righteous purpose: despite grief and danger, the brothers continue the search, embodying disciplined action (dharma) in adversity.

After Sītā’s abduction, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa proceed from Janasthāna and enter the dense Krauncha forest as part of their search.

Vīrya (courage/energy) and dhṛti (resolve): the pair advance into an impassable forest without hesitation.
