Shloka 3.69.45

अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः (Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha)

सबाणचापखड्गौ च तीक्ष्णशृङ्गाविवर्षभौ।।।।ममास्यमनुसम्प्राप्तौ दुर्लभं जीवितं पुनः।

sabāṇacāpakhaḍgau ca tīkṣṇaśṛṅgāv iva vṛṣabhau |

mamāsyam anusamprāptau durlabhaṃ jīvitaṃ punaḥ ||

“Armed with arrows, bows, and swords—like two bulls with sharp horns—you have come within my jaws; now life will be hard to regain.”

Holding bows, arrows and swords, looking like bulls with pointed horns you have entered my mouth. It is impossible for you to live any more.

Dharma must confront coercion: when violence claims inevitability (‘you cannot live’), righteousness answers through courage and rightful resistance.

Kabandha boasts that the brothers have effectively fallen into his grasp and declares their death certain.

Fearless readiness—though threatened with death, the brothers are depicted as powerful and fully armed.
