विशालं रमणीयं च तद्विमानमनुत्तम्।।3.55.30।।तत्र सीते मया सार्धं विहरस्व यथासुखम्।
viśālaṃ ramaṇīyaṃ ca tad vimānam anuttamam | tatra sīte mayā sārdhaṃ viharasva yathā-sukham || 3.55.30 ||
That unsurpassed aerial car is vast and beautiful. O Sītā, there you may roam at ease together with me.
O Sita! that excellent chariot is big and beautiful. Where on you can roam happily along with me.
It underscores that comfort and luxury cannot legitimize unrighteous desire; dharma requires consent and respect for marital fidelity, not coercive persuasion.
Rāvaṇa continues his attempt to seduce Sītā, offering pleasurable travel and companionship in the Puṣpaka-vimāna.
By contrast to the offer, Sītā’s implied virtue is steadfast chastity and adherence to dharma, refusing to be swayed by material allure.
