तमुग्रतेजःकर्माणं जनस्थानरूहा द्रुमाः।।।।समीक्ष्य सम्प्रकम्पन्ते न प्रवाति च मारुतः।

Transliteration

rāmasya tv antaraprepsur daśagrīvas tadantare |

upatasthē ca vai dehīṃ bhikṣurūpeṇa rāvaṇaḥ ||

Translation

Seeking an opening in Rāma’s absence, the ten-necked Rāvaṇa approached Vaidehī, disguised as a mendicant.
