Having resolved within himself, “This indeed is what must be done,” he, steadfast in purpose, then went to the delightful coach-shed.

Deliberating on the task ahead, duly considering the pros and cons, demerits and merits, strength and weakness, of the issue and having firmly decided within himself, he left for the beautiful coachshed.

Y
yānaśālā (coach-shed)

Dharma involves deliberate discernment and firm resolve—acting only after deciding clearly what ought to be done.

A character (contextually Rāvaṇa in this sarga’s travel sequence) decides on a course of action and proceeds to the coach-shed to set it in motion.

Steadiness of mind (sthirabuddhi)—the capacity to commit to a decision after reflection.
