If I am roused to wrath, by my own radiance I could burn even the Sun and fire; and by sheer force I could instantly check the speed of the wind.

If angry, I can burn the Sun and even fire with my radiance. I can arrest the speed of the wind instantly with my effort.

The verse highlights how unchecked anger (krodha) and pride in power can lead away from dharma; might is presented as capability, but dharma requires restraint and right use of power.

Rāvaṇa, provoked by news of defeats and affronts, erupts in a display of overconfidence, proclaiming cosmic-level power before Akampana.

Not a virtue but a cautionary trait: Rāvaṇa’s hubris and wrath—qualities that oppose the Ramayana’s ideal of self-control (dama) and righteous judgment.
