Wounded in every limb by arrows, the Rāghava grew wrathful; in battle Rama shone like a smokeless fire, blazing.
Khara, the mighty demon, saw his large, irrepressible army killed. He saw Trisira and Dusana slain single-handed by Rama. Nervous, he advanced towards Rama wage war just as Namuchi approached Indra.
Dharma is the purification of anger into righteous energy: Rama’s ‘fire’ is smokeless—suggesting clarity and purpose rather than blind rage—directed to end adharma.
Despite being struck across his body, Rama’s presence becomes more formidable; his controlled wrath manifests as radiant power in the duel.
Kṣānti with tejas (endurance with spiritual radiance): he bears pain yet remains focused, his strength intensifying rather than collapsing.
