Shloka 3.24.20
उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च (Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army)
ऋषयश्च महात्मानो लोके ब्रह्मर्षिसत्तमाः।समेत्य चोचुस्सहिता अन्योन्यं पुण्यकर्मणः।।।।
ṛṣayaś ca mahātmāno loke brahmarṣi-sattamāḥ | sametya cocuḥ sahitā anyonyaṃ puṇya-karmaṇaḥ ||
And great-souled sages—foremost Brahmarṣis in the world, men of holy deeds—assembled together and spoke among themselves.
Great ascetics of the world, distinguished brahmarsis, accomplishers of pious deeds assembled and said to one another:
The presence of sages underscores that dharma is assessed and affirmed by the wise; righteous action draws the attention of moral authorities.
As the confrontation approaches, revered sages gather and begin discussing what they are witnessing.
The sanctity of righteous struggle—Rama’s impending action is framed as worthy of sage and celestial attention.
