Even the wish that rests in your heart is known to me through my austerity. Therefore, after assuring a stay here with me in this grove of penance, I tell you: ‘Go to Pañcavaṭī.’
I know your heart by virtue of my penance. I, therefore, ask you to proceed to Panchavati, after ensuring your stay here with me in this penancegrove for the time being.
The same dharma as the preceding verse: honoring ascetic hospitality and proceeding under righteous guidance.
This verse repeats the instruction to go to Pañcavaṭī, reflecting a duplication/variant presentation in the Southern Recension tradition.
Respect for sage authority and disciplined adherence to proper conduct during exile.
