पञ्चाप्सरो-सरः कथनम् तथा अगस्त्याश्रममार्गनिर्देशः (Panchapsara Lake Account and Directions to Agastya)
अत्र सिद्धा महात्मानो विमानैजस्सूर्यसन्निभैः।त्यक्तदेहा नवैर्देहैः स्वर्याताः परमर्षयः।।।।
atra siddhā mahātmāno vimānaiḥ sūryasannibhaiḥ | tyaktadehā navair dehaiḥ svaryātāḥ paramarṣayaḥ ||
Here perfected beings and great-souled supreme sages, casting off their bodies, have gone to heaven in sun-bright aerial chariots—taking on renewed bodies.
Here great souls like sages and siddhas gave up the ghost and with renewed bodies left for heaven on aerochariot resembling the Sun (in brightness).
A life of Dharma and tapas yields exalted outcomes; the verse presents spiritual attainment as the fruit of disciplined righteousness.
Rama continues to portray the extraordinary sanctity of the place, where siddhas and great sages attain heavenly ascent.
