श्रीभगवानुवाच । किमर्थं मामनुब्रूथ युवामसुरसत्तमौ । गतायुष्कौ युवां भूयस्त्वहो जीवितुमिच्छथः
śrībhagavānuvāca | kimarthaṃ māmanubrūtha yuvāmasurasattamau | gatāyuṣkau yuvāṃ bhūyastvaho jīvitumicchathaḥ
The Blessed Lord said: “For what purpose do you two—foremost among the Asuras—address me? Your allotted lifespan is spent; yet, alas, you still wish to live again.”
