एतेषां च गिरः श्रुत्वा स विष्णुर्देवदैवतः । मनश्चक्रे विनाशाय दानवानां महामृधे

eteṣāṃ ca giraḥ śrutvā sa viṣṇurdevadaivataḥ | manaścakre vināśāya dānavānāṃ mahāmṛdhe

Hearing their words, that Viṣṇu—worshipped even by the gods—set his mind on the destruction of the Dānavas in the great battle.
