sarvalokasya rakṣārthamanantaṃ nityameva hi | abhayaṃ varadaṃ devaṃ prayacchaṃtaṃ mudānvitam || 123 ||
Truly, for the protection of all worlds, one should contemplate Ananta—the Eternal— the divine Lord who, rejoicing, bestows fearlessness and grants boons.
Narada (teaching within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents Ananta (Vishnu) as the ever-present cosmic protector whose grace removes fear and sustains the worlds, encouraging refuge in the eternal divine rather than in transient supports.
Bhakti is implied as joyful remembrance and reliance on the Lord who actively “grants” (prayacchati) fearlessness and boons—showing devotion as a living relationship of trust and grace.
While not naming a specific Vedanga, the verse aligns with practical mantra–dhyana application (a technical devotional practice): steady contemplation of a defined deity-form and attributes (nitya, varada, abhaya) as a focused method of worship.
