Nārada’s Hymn to Viṣṇu
Nāradasya Viṣṇu-stavaḥ
साङ्ख्याः सर्वेषु पश्यन्ति परिपूर्णात्मकं हरिम् । तमादिदेवमजरं ज्ञानरूपं भजाम्यहम् ॥ ५१ ॥
sāṅkhyāḥ sarveṣu paśyanti paripūrṇātmakaṃ harim | tamādidevamajaraṃ jñānarūpaṃ bhajāmyaham || 51 ||
The followers of Sāṅkhya behold Hari as the all-complete Self present in all beings. I worship that primal Deity—unaging, whose very form is knowledge.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It harmonizes philosophical insight with devotion: realizing Hari as the complete Self in all beings culminates in worship of the primordial, unaging Lord who is identical with true knowledge.
Bhakti here is grounded in right vision—seeing Vishnu everywhere (sarveṣu) and then consciously taking refuge in Him (bhajāmi), worshipping Him as the source of all and as pure wisdom.
Rather than a ritual or technical Vedanga rule, the verse emphasizes jñāna (discriminative understanding), aligning Sāṅkhya-style discernment with devotional worship as a practical spiritual discipline.
