Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules
एतेषां नवमानानां व्यवहारोऽत्र पञ्चभिः । तेषां पृथक्पृथक्कार्यं वक्ष्यते व्यवहारतः ॥ ११० ॥
eteṣāṃ navamānānāṃ vyavahāro'tra pañcabhiḥ | teṣāṃ pṛthakpṛthakkāryaṃ vakṣyate vyavahārataḥ || 110 ||
Here, the practical usage of these nine kinds of measures is carried out through five modes. Their distinct functions will be explained separately, in terms of actual practice.

It emphasizes that dharma is preserved not only by ideals but by correct, well-defined practice—standards (māna) must be applied methodically, and each has its proper function.
Indirectly, it supports bhakti by insisting on disciplined, accurate practice; orderly conduct and correct procedure protect the purity of devotional and dharmic observances.
A shastric, technical approach to māna (standards/measures) and vyavahāra (procedure), aligning with the applied disciplines used to maintain correctness in ritual, record-keeping, and formal practice.
