Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
गृहप्राच्यादिगौ द्वौ द्वौ व्द्यंगाः कोणेष्वजादयः । पर्यंके वास्तुवत्पादास्रिषदंकांत्यराशयः ॥ ८९ ॥
gṛhaprācyādigau dvau dvau vdyaṃgāḥ koṇeṣvajādayaḥ | paryaṃke vāstuvatpādāsriṣadaṃkāṃtyarāśayaḥ || 89 ||
In the house-mandala, in the eastern direction and the others, (the deities/parts are arranged) two by two; in the corners are Ajā and the rest. On the central couch (platform) are the quarters (pādas) as in the Vāstu arrangement—(marked) by the seats, numbers, and the sequence of the signs/portions.

It treats the home as a sacred mandala: correct directional and corner placements align human dwelling with cosmic order (ṛta), supporting dharma and inner steadiness conducive to moksha-oriented life.
By prescribing orderly, sanctified space (vāstu-vat), it indirectly supports daily worship and disciplined living—conditions that stabilize the mind and make sustained Vishnu-bhakti and japa easier to maintain.
