The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months
पूजयित्वा जगन्नाथावुमामाहेश्वरी तनूः । हैम्यौ रौप्यौ च मृन्मप्यौ यथाशक्त्या विधाय च ॥ २३ ॥
pūjayitvā jagannāthāvumāmāheśvarī tanūḥ | haimyau raupyau ca mṛnmapyau yathāśaktyā vidhāya ca || 23 ||
Having worshipped Jagannātha, the Lord of the universe, one should also worship the embodiments of Umā and Maheśvara; and, according to one’s means, fashion them in gold, in silver, or even in clay.
