Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
तया चाभ्युपपन्नांस्तान् दृष्ट्वा देवास्ततो ऽसुरान् अभिजग्मुः प्रसह्यैतान् अविचार्य बलाबलम् //
tayā cābhyupapannāṃstān dṛṣṭvā devāstato 'surān abhijagmuḥ prasahyaitān avicārya balābalam //
Seeing those Asuras thus emboldened by her, the Devas rushed upon them, forcibly engaging them, without pausing to weigh their own strength against the enemy’s.
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it focuses on a battlefield moment where the Devas attack the Asuras without evaluating relative strength.
It implicitly warns rulers against acting impulsively: proper rajadharma requires assessing bala–abala (one’s capacity, allies, terrain, and enemy power) before initiating force.
No Vastu, temple, or ritual procedure is stated here; the verse is purely narrative and strategic, highlighting deliberation (vicāra) versus rash assault.
