Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
कुलानां शतमेकं च यादवानां महात्मनाम् सर्वमेतत्कुलं यावद् वर्तते वैष्णवे कुले //
kulānāṃ śatamekaṃ ca yādavānāṃ mahātmanām sarvametatkulaṃ yāvad vartate vaiṣṇave kule //
Among the noble Yādavas there are a hundred and one clans; and all this lineage continues to endure so long as it remains within the Vaiṣṇava (devoted-to-Viṣṇu) family-line.
This verse does not address Pralaya; it is a genealogical statement enumerating Yādava clans and emphasizing continuity of the lineage within a Vaiṣṇava identity.
Indirectly, it frames dharmic identity through kula (lineage) and devotion (Vaiṣṇava affiliation), implying that preserving righteous family traditions and devotional alignment sustains social continuity—an ideal expected of kings and householders in Purāṇic ethics.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated here; the focus is on lineage structure (kula) and its enduring continuity.
