Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation
ब्रह्मात्मदृढबन्धश्च विशालो जगदास्थितः ग्रामणीः सर्वभूतानां ब्रह्मा त्रैलोक्यपूजितः //
brahmātmadṛḍhabandhaśca viśālo jagadāsthitaḥ grāmaṇīḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ brahmā trailokyapūjitaḥ //
Brahmā is firmly bound to the Supreme Self; vast in being, he stands as the support of the world. He is the leader of all creatures, and Brahmā is worshipped throughout the three worlds.
It emphasizes the cosmic order: Brahmā, connected to the Supreme Self, functions as the world-supporting creator revered across the three worlds—an affirmation of creation’s governance rather than a direct Pralaya description.
By portraying Brahmā as “grāmaṇī” (chief/leader) of all beings, it models ideal leadership: stability, alignment with higher truth (Ātman), and responsibility for sustaining order—principles applicable to righteous kingship and household governance.
Ritually, it supports Brahmā’s worship as a legitimate, tri-loka revered focus; while not giving Vastu rules directly, it underpins temple/ritual theology where Brahmā is honored as a cosmic administrator connected to the Supreme Self.
