Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation
सुपर्वाणं बृहत्कान्तिः साध्या लोकनमस्कृताः वासवानुगता देवी जनयामास वै सुरान् //
suparvāṇaṃ bṛhatkāntiḥ sādhyā lokanamaskṛtāḥ vāsavānugatā devī janayāmāsa vai surān //
The goddess—attended by Vāsava (Indra)—gave birth to the gods: Suparvāṇa, Bṛhatkānti, the Sādhyas, and the Lokanamaskṛtas.
It reflects creation (sarga) themes rather than Pralaya: the verse lists divine classes born from a goddess, indicating orderly emanation of deva-groups in cosmic genealogy.
Indirectly, it supports the Matsya Purana’s dharmic worldview: kings and householders are urged to honor devas and uphold ritual order, since deva lineages (like the Sādhyas) are foundational to sacrifice and cosmic governance.
No direct Vāstu rule is stated; ritually, the mention of Sādhyas and revered deva-groups aligns with Purāṇic sacrificial frameworks where specific deity-classes are invoked and honored in yajñas and daily worship.
