तेषामग्रेसरो जम्भः कुजम्भो ऽनन्तरस्ततः महिषः कुञ्जरो मेघः कालनेमिर्निमिस्तथा //
teṣāmagresaro jambhaḥ kujambho 'nantarastataḥ mahiṣaḥ kuñjaro meghaḥ kālanemirnimistathā //
Among them, the foremost was Jambha; next came Kujambha. Then there were Mahiṣa, Kuñjara, Megha, and also Kālanemi and Nimi.
This verse does not describe Pralaya; it functions as a genealogical catalogue, listing prominent Asura figures (leaders and notable names) within a lineage.
Indirectly, it supports the Purāṇic ideal that rulers and householders should know traditional histories and lineages (itihāsa–purāṇa knowledge), which frames ethical governance through awareness of past powers and their consequences.
None is stated in this śloka; it is a name-list verse rather than a Vāstu, temple-architecture, or ritual-procedure instruction.
