Matsya Purana — Solar Dynasty Prelude: Vivasvān–Saṃjñā–Chāyā
अहो वृत्तमहो रूपम् अहो धनमहो कुलम् मम चास्य च मे भर्तुर् अहो लावण्यम् उत्तमम् //
aho vṛttamaho rūpam aho dhanamaho kulam mama cāsya ca me bhartur aho lāvaṇyam uttamam //
Ah, what admirable conduct! Ah, what beauty! Ah, what wealth; ah, what noble lineage! And ah—both mine and his, and of my husband—what unsurpassed loveliness!
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it is a courtly utterance praising virtue, beauty, wealth, and noble lineage.
It reflects the Purāṇic social ideal that true excellence includes vṛtta (good conduct) alongside prosperity (dhana) and noble family (kula), aligning with householder and royal expectations of reputation, restraint, and dignity.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is mentioned; the focus is personal and social praise.
