Matsya Purana — Pṛthu
पृष्ठतो ऽनुगतस्तस्याः पृथुर्दीप्तशरासनः ततः स्थित्वैकदेशे तु किं करोमीति चाब्रवीत् //
pṛṣṭhato 'nugatastasyāḥ pṛthurdīptaśarāsanaḥ tataḥ sthitvaikadeśe tu kiṃ karomīti cābravīt //
Following behind her, Pṛthu—his bow blazing with brilliance—stopped at a certain spot and said, “What am I to do?”
This verse does not discuss pralaya or cosmic creation; it focuses on a royal figure pausing mid-action and reflecting on what should be done.
It highlights a key Rajadharma principle: even a powerful king (armed and capable) should pause, assess, and choose the proper course rather than act impulsively.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is mentioned in this verse; it is purely narrative and ethical in tone.
