Matsya Purana — Kārtavīrya Arjuna’s Solar Boon and the Genealogy from Kroṣṭu to the Yādava Lines
अजभू राष्ट्रपालश्च युद्धमुष्टिः सुमुष्टिदः तेषां स्वसारः पञ्चासन् कंसा कंसवती तथा //
ajabhū rāṣṭrapālaśca yuddhamuṣṭiḥ sumuṣṭidaḥ teṣāṃ svasāraḥ pañcāsan kaṃsā kaṃsavatī tathā //
Ajabhū, Rāṣṭrapāla, Yuddhamuṣṭi, and Sumuṣṭida are named; and there were also five sisters, including Kaṃsā and Kaṃsavatī.
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it functions as a genealogical notice, listing individuals and noting that they had five sisters, including Kaṃsā and Kaṃsavatī.
Indirectly, it preserves the Purāṇic record of royal-family networks—an ethical-cultural backdrop where kingship and household lineage (family relations like ‘sisters’) are treated as part of dharma and social order, though no explicit duty is taught here.
No Vāstu, temple-architecture, or ritual procedure is mentioned; the content is purely nominative and genealogical.
