Matsya Purana — Kārtavīrya Arjuna’s Solar Boon and the Genealogy from Kroṣṭu to the Yādava Lines
*आदित्य उवाच तुष्टस्ते ऽहं शरान्दद्मि अक्षयान्सर्वतोमुखान् ये प्रक्षिप्ता ज्वलिष्यन्ति मम तेजःसमन्विताः //
*āditya uvāca tuṣṭaste 'haṃ śarāndadmi akṣayānsarvatomukhān ye prakṣiptā jvaliṣyanti mama tejaḥsamanvitāḥ //
Āditya said: “Pleased with you, I grant you inexhaustible arrows, striking in every direction; when released, they shall blaze forth, endowed with the power of my radiance (tejas).”
This verse does not describe Pralaya directly; it highlights tejas (divine radiance) as a cosmic power that can manifest as an inexhaustible, blazing weapon when bestowed by a deity.
It implies that power (weapons/boons) is ideally received through merit and divine approval, and should be used as dharmic protection—restrained, purposeful, and aligned with righteous duty rather than aggression.
No Vāstu or temple-rule detail appears explicitly; ritually, it reflects the Puranic theme that divine empowerment (tejas) is conferred through devotion/austerity and functions as consecrated protection.
