Matsya Purana — Kārtavīrya Arjuna’s Solar Boon and the Genealogy from Kroṣṭu to the Yādava Lines
देवक्षत्रो ऽभवद्राजा दैवरातिर्महायशाः देवगर्भसमो जज्ञे देवनक्षत्रनन्दनः //
devakṣatro 'bhavadrājā daivarātirmahāyaśāḥ devagarbhasamo jajñe devanakṣatranandanaḥ //
Devakṣatra became king, and Daivarāti—of great renown—was born. Then there was born one equal to Devagarbha, the delight (son) of Devanakṣatra.
Nothing directly—this verse is part of a dynastic genealogy, focusing on royal succession and births rather than cosmology or Pralaya.
Indirectly: by emphasizing legitimate succession and illustrious reputation (mahāyaśas), it reflects the Purāṇic ideal that kingship is sustained through worthy lineage and fame earned by righteous conduct.
None explicitly; the verse is genealogical and does not discuss Vastu Shastra, temple iconography, or ritual procedure.
