FAQs

It uses the time-unit “kalpa” (aeon) to frame the soul’s long cosmological journey; rather than detailing pralaya, it emphasizes post-merit progression through cosmic realms across successive cycles.

It functions as a phala-śruti: righteous conduct and prescribed duties yield refined enjoyments (svarga-like realms) and, ultimately, a higher spiritual consummation—encouraging kings and householders to uphold dharma for both worldly and transcendent ends.

No direct Vāstu or temple-construction rule appears in this verse; its ritual takeaway is the Purāṇic principle that properly performed dharmic/ritual acts can lead from heavenly reward to the ‘supreme gati’ (final highest attainment).
