Whoever has it inscribed and then donates it—together with a golden trident—attains the Śaiva state, especially when the Sun has entered Pisces (Mīna).
This verse is not about pralaya; it focuses on ritual merit (puṇya) from a specific donation and its फल (result), namely attaining a Śaiva state.
It frames dāna as a key householder duty: commissioning an inscribed religious item and donating it with a golden trident, timed to an auspicious solar transit (Sun in Pisces), as a means to gain spiritual attainment.
Ritually, it prescribes a donation featuring a Śiva emblem (śūla/trident) and emphasizes auspicious timing linked to Mīna-saṅkrānti (the Sun’s entry into Pisces).
