Matsya Purana — Account of the Manvantaras: Manus
स्वारोचिषस्य तनयाश् चत्वारो देववर्चसः नभोनभस्यप्रसृतिभानवः कीर्तिवर्धनाः //
svārociṣasya tanayāś catvāro devavarcasaḥ nabhonabhasyaprasṛtibhānavaḥ kīrtivardhanāḥ //
Svārociṣa had four sons, radiant with divine splendor—Nabhonabhas, Prasṛti, Bhānava, and Kīrtivardhana.
It does not describe Pralaya directly; it situates the narrative in cyclical time by listing figures of the Svārociṣa Manvantara, a key framework used in Purāṇas to map creation across successive eras.
Indirectly, it supports the Purāṇic ideal of dharmic continuity through lineage—royal succession and the preservation of family lines are presented as part of sustaining social order across a Manvantara.
None is stated in this verse; it is a genealogical enumeration rather than a Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual instruction passage.
