Adhyaya 52 — The Manifestation of Nilalohita (Rudra) and the Allocation of His Names, Abodes, Consorts, and Lineages
uttamajñānasaṃpanne sarvaiḥ samudite guṇaiḥ | ityeṣā dakṣakanyānāṃ kathitāpatyasaṃtatiḥ | śraddhāvān saṃsmarannityaṃ prajāvānabhijāyate
Endowed with excellent knowledge and possessing all virtues in full measure—thus has the lineage of the offspring born of Dakṣa’s daughters been described. One who, with faith, remembers it daily becomes blessed with progeny.

The Purāṇic method links attentive remembrance (smaraṇa) with dhārmic merit: faithful recollection of sacred genealogies is presented as a discipline that aligns one with cosmic order and yields household prosperity, here expressed as progeny.
Primarily Vaṃśa/Anuvaṃśa (genealogies of lineages), with a concluding phalaśruti that functions as a ritualized seal encouraging memorization and recitation.
Genealogy symbolizes continuity of ṛta (cosmic order) through lawful succession. ‘Remembering daily’ can be read as maintaining an inner continuity of tradition—stabilizing mind and household life—so that ‘progeny’ also implies the fruitful emergence of virtuous qualities and works.
