शीतोष्णादिभिरत्युग्रैर्यस्य बाधा न विद्यते ।
न भीतिमेति चान्येभ्यस्तस्य सिद्धिरुपस्थिताः ॥
śītoṣṇādibhir aty-ugrair yasya bādhā na vidyate /
na bhītim eti cānyebhyas tasya siddhir upasthitāḥ //

Spiritual maturity is measured by equanimity under extremes and freedom from social fear—signs of inner independence rather than domination over others.
Yogic characterization; not pancalakṣaṇa.
Immunity to ‘cold/heat’ indicates stabilized prāṇa and reduced identification with bodily sensation; fearlessness indicates the loosening of ahaṃkāra-based vulnerability.
