Adhyaya 30 — Madālasā’s Instruction on Household Duties and Naimittika–Śrāddha Rites

Here, the twice-born (brāhmaṇas) should be engaged in even numbers, and they are to be honored with circumambulation. This is an occasional (naimittika) rite for times of prosperity/increase; and so too are other post-funeral (aurdhvadehika) rites.

Dharma is enacted through respect and proper social-ritual relationships: honoring qualified recipients (dvijas) is presented as part of honoring the Pitṛs and sustaining communal order.
Not pañcalakṣaṇa proper; it is ritual-dharma instruction embedded in Purāṇic teaching.
Even numbers and pradakṣiṇā symbolize balance and auspicious circulation of merit (puṇya) between visible community and unseen ancestors.
