Vaiśampāyana said: Arjuna, the fierce warrior, brought Abhimanyu and also Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) to the land of Ānarta; and the Pāṇḍava further had the Dāśārhas—Kṛṣṇa’s own kinsmen—summoned there as well. The episode underscores prudent alliance-building and the dharmic duty to secure rightful support from family and trusted relations as conflict draws near.

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic prudence: in moments of looming crisis, one should responsibly gather rightful support—especially from trusted kin and allies—so that action is grounded in legitimate relationships, counsel, and collective duty rather than impulsive force.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna brings Abhimanyu and Kṛṣṇa to Ānarta and also arranges for Kṛṣṇa’s Dāśārha relatives to come there, indicating coordinated mobilization and alliance formation among the Pāṇḍavas and the Yādavas.
