वैशम्पायन उवाच अभथीोत्तरेण प्रहिता दूतास्ते शीघ्रगामिन: । विराटनगरं प्राप्प विजयं समवेदयन्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! इसी समय उत्तरके भेजे हुए शीघ्रगामी दूतोंने विराटनगरमें आकर विजयकी सूचना दी

vaiśampāyana uvāca: athottareṇa prahitā dūtās te śīghragāminaḥ | virāṭanagaraṃ prāpya vijayaṃ samavedayan |

Vaiśampāyana said: Then the swift messengers dispatched by Uttara reached the city of Virāṭa and reported the news of victory.
