नायं युक्तो मनुष्येषु यो5यं संदृश्यते महान् । महास्त्राणां सम्प्रयोग: समरे भीष्मपार्थयो:,'भीष्म और पार्थके युद्धमें जो यह बड़े-बड़े दिव्यास्त्रोंका महान् प्रयोग देखा जा रहा है, यह मजनुष्योंमें अन्यत्र कहीं सम्भव नहीं है”
Transliteration
na ayaṁ yukto manuṣyeṣu yo ’yaṁ saṁdṛśyate mahān | mahāstrāṇāṁ samprayogaḥ samare bhīṣma-pārthayoḥ ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: “This mighty spectacle that is being witnessed is not something possible among ordinary men. In the battle between Bhīṣma and Pārtha, the tremendous deployment of great celestial weapons is taking place—an occurrence scarcely conceivable elsewhere in the human world.”
