ततस्ते कुरव: सर्वे साधु साध्विति चाब्रुवन्‌ । दुष्करं कृतवान्‌ भीष्मो यदर्जुनमयोधयत्‌,उस समय समस्त कौरव साधुवाद देते हुए बोल उठे--“अहो! भीष्मजीने यह दुष्कर पराक्रम किया, जो कि अर्जुनके साथ युद्ध किया"

tatas te kuravaḥ sarve sādhu sādhv iti cābruvan | duṣkaraṃ kṛtavān bhīṣmo yad arjunam ayodhayat ||

Then all those Kurus exclaimed, “Well done! Well done!” They declared that Bhīṣma had accomplished a difficult feat—namely, that he had engaged Arjuna in battle.
