ददर्श नान्तरं कश्चित् पार्थस्याददतोडपि च,उनके बाणोंके भीतर वायु भी प्रवेश नहीं कर पाती थी। कुन्तीनन्दन अर्जुन निरन्तर बाणोंको हाथमें लेते, धनुषपर रखते और छोड़ते थे। कोई भी उनकी इन क्रियाओंमें क्षणभरका भी अन्तर नहीं देख पाता था
vaiśampāyana uvāca | dadarśa nāntaraṃ kaścit pārthasyādadato 'pi ca |
Vaiśampāyana said: No one could perceive even the slightest interval in Pārtha’s actions—even as he kept taking arrows. So unbroken was his rapid sequence of drawing, setting, and releasing shafts that not even the wind could find a gap between his arrows.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores disciplined excellence (abhyāsa and ekāgratā) in the performance of one’s duty: Arjuna’s flawless continuity of action symbolizes mastery governed by purpose and responsibility in a dharmic struggle, not impulsive violence.
During the Virāṭa episode’s battle scene, Arjuna’s archery is described as so swift and continuous that observers cannot detect any pause between his taking, placing, and releasing arrows—an image of overwhelming martial superiority.
