Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners

Kṛpa said: “Having won a kingdom through gambling, what kṣatriya could ever be satisfied? Yet this son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra is content with just that—for his nature is cruel, pitiless, and base.”

Educational Q&A

Rule gained by unrighteous means (like gambling) cannot bring true fulfillment to a kṣatriya; contentment in such a gain signals moral poverty and cruelty rather than legitimate kingship.

Kṛpa criticizes Duryodhana, saying that a warrior-noble should not feel satisfied with a kingdom won through dice, but Duryodhana does—because his character is harsh and unscrupulous.
