गोमायुरेष सेनायां रुदन् मध्येन धावति । अनाहतकश्न निष्क्रान्तो महद् वेदयते भयम्,ये पक्षी भी हमारे वामभागमें उड़कर महान् भयकी सूचना दे रहे हैं और यह गीदड़ बिना किसी आघातके हमारी सेनाके बीचसे निकलकर रोता हुआ भाग रहा है, यह भी महान् भयका विज्ञापन कर रहा है
Translation
“This jackal, crying out, runs through the midst of the army; unstruck by anyone, it has slipped out and is proclaiming a great fear. Those birds too, flying to our left, are signaling a great danger.”
