Educational Q&A

The verse highlights prompt, disciplined action aligned with kṣatriya-dharma: when a situation turns perilous, one should act decisively to restore order, restrain harmful flight, and uphold responsibility rather than hesitate or act from mere anger.

After speaking, Kaunteya (Arjuna) jumps down from a fine chariot and pursues a fleeing prince. The narration emphasizes urgency and pursuit within a tense episode of the Virāṭa narrative.
