The Trigarta–Matsya Engagement at Twilight

अस्मान् युधि विनिर्जित्य परिभूय सबान्धवान् | गवां शतसहस्राणि त्रिगर्ता: कालयन्ति ते
Translation
Then we went to him, bowed in reverence, and said: “O Maharaja! The warriors of the Trigarta land have defeated us in battle, scorned us together with our kinsmen, and are now driving away your cattle—hundreds of thousands of cows.”
