Transliteration

virāṭasya priyo bhrātā śatānīko 'bhyahārayat |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: Śatānīka, the beloved brother of King Virāṭa, brought forth and took up the armor. The corselets were brilliant and variegated, fit to be worn by heroes; Śatānīka accepted a golden cuirass, fashioned within with lattices of diamond and iron.
