धर्मार्थसहितं श्लक्ष्णं तत्त्वतश्न सहेतुकम्‌ । तत्रानुरूपं भीष्मेण ममाप्यत्र गिरं शूणु

Transliteration

dharma-artha-sahitaṁ ślakṣṇaṁ tattvataś ca sahetukam | tatrānurūpaṁ bhīṣmeṇa mamāpy atra giraṁ śṛṇu ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “Hear from me as well the words spoken here by Bhīṣma—refined in expression, grounded in truth, supported by sound reasoning, and aligned with the aims of dharma and artha, fitting to the occasion.”
